What does your shirt say?

We wanted to think of a clever way to tell family that we were pregnant. I had known for a week and it was killing me to tell my mom. (If you know me, you know I can not keep secrets!!!!) The day was fairly chilly so we bundled Jackson up. We went to my parents house to watch the Memphis basketball game. During the game, I told my mom I wanted her to see Jackson's cute shirt. I took off his sweatshirt and this is what they saw:
*My mom squealed when she read his shirt

I took this one but was unsure what to think. Jason and I both thought it was a little faint so i took...
Test 2:
At this point, I am convinced! However, Jason still thought it was inconclusive, so I took...

I'm pretty sure this settled it for Jason. =) We are PREGNANT!!!! And because there is always someone who wants to know...no, we weren't trying. This is a surprise, a VERY welcomed surprise. We are so excited. Our Thanksgiving baby will be here before you know it!

March 15th Verse

"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, beause you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1:2-4, NIV

Mommy Moments

Today I read something that I thought was hilarious here. (Warning-this is not for the faint-of-heart!!)

I like to call things like this: Mommy Moments. Although I have never had one to this extreme, I have a feeling my day is coming...cause lets face it, I'm the mommy of a boy!

Enjoy!

I need some help

Ok family and blog-friends...I need advice. My little boy is 19 months-old and is officially labeled a "biter". The thing is, he only bites at school. At home, he is so good and loving. His first offense was when a little girl put her finger in his mouth (I don't really blame him for that one). Today was his second offense. He down-right bit a little girl on the nose. If he bites one more time, he will be kicked out of Mother's Day Out. I am so ashamed to say that my kid will be a Mother's Day Out drop-out. Any advice is appreciated...Bring it on Mommies!!!

March 1st Verse

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
