Hudson's Birthday- Part 2 (The Party Edition)

Ok, so birthday party planning is my weakness! I take a theme and run with it! If you follow me on pinterest, you know I have been going crazy with the Dr. Seuss ideas. (Can I take this moment to thank the inventors of Pinterest. You helped me greatly while I was planning this party!)
My Mom's cute chalkboard over her stove top.
Dr. Suess hats for all the kids
Where Hudson opened his presents.
I always make a wreath for the boy's birthdays. This is my creation for Hud's party. (I love how it turned out)
When everyone got there, we asked them to write a message to Hudson in his birthday book. Even Jackson wrote a sweet note!
"It's time to party!"
I still can't get over the fact that I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Who gave them permission to grow up?
Once all the kids got there, it was craft time. I found these cute "Seussy" looking wood ornaments at Hobby Lobby. They loved painting "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" ornaments.
These are the finished ornaments. Aren't they adorable? I can't wait to hang the boys on our Christmas tree.
We ate some food... We had "One fish, Two fish, Red fish, Blue fish" (colored goldfish), Crack dip, "3 decker sour craut and toad stool sandwiches with arsenic sauce" (ham sandwiches) and grapes and fruit dip.
Had some cupcakes...
...and sang "Happy Birthday" to the birthday boy!
Hudson ate another WHOLE cupcake!
And then we opened presents.
He passed out on the way home. Thats what happens when you party too hard! Happy Birthday sweet Hudson.
